Text in German. A facsimile reprint of the original 1930 publication..  xxvi, 688pp, with black and white illustrations and line drawings in text.  Blue canvas covers.  8vo.  Covers are worn, rubbed at edges and around spine, rounded and scuffed on corners and spine ends, with some minor creasing and a little sunning over spine.  Text block edges slightly foxed.  Internally a few minor signs of handling else neat, clean, bright and tight.

Rudolf John Gorsleben (1883-1930) was a German Ariosophist, Armanist (practitioner of Armanen runes), journalist and playwright.  This, his major work, mixes Germanic folklore, occultism and theosophy with racial discrimination in extreme, with a lacing of a blend of Christianity and Nordic tradition.
