Undated but likely circa 1910. Stated expurgated edition. 302, 32 (publisher’s catalogue)pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and 11 further monochrome plate illustrations interleaved in text. Decorated cloth binding, gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Cloth a little tired and dull, rounded on corners and at ends of a moderately sunned spine. Text block edges toned. Prize presentation plate, dated 1912, on front paste down. Endpapers a little soiled and spotted, front free endpaper has flat crease along fore edge, rear free endpaper creased on lower corner, pages toned in margins throughout.
