48pp stapled booklet in illustrated light card wrappers. Black and white illustrations. 8vo. A little toning around edges of covers, very gently rubbed, light chipped at spine head, small stain on verso. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Introduction, catalogue and cultivation notes for the 1958-59 season from the famous George Bunyard Nurseries in Maidstone, Kent. Founded in 1796, it sold a wide variety of fruit trees and other plants, popularising the Lady Sudeley apple (originally known as Jacob’s Strawberry), and providing stock for Kew Gardens. The firm collapsed in 1960.
