234pp, with black and white frontispiece, fold out maps and diagrams and many black and white photographs throughout text. Dark blue boars with gilt titles on spine. 4to. Some small marks on boards, corners and spine ends rubbed with boards visible in some small spots. Pen inscription on the front pastedown endpaper (dated 18th June 1933) and the front free endpaper (dated March 10th 1948), spine hinge visible and a little loose towards bottom of title page, foxing on fold outs and endpapers.
