Undated but circa 1934. All four parts of the catalogue issued by notable New York rare bookseller, Charles S Boesen covering the collection of Dr Samuel Wyllis Bandler, bound into a single volume. Signed and inscribed by Charles Boesen on the front free endpaper. Runs to some 400 pages in total with some black and white plate illustrations of collection items. Bound in blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration on front and spine. Cloth a little rounded at spine ends, slightly faded at edges. Upper text block edge a little dust darkened. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

Dr Samuel Wyllis Bandler (1869-1932) was a scientist and well-known collector of books, manuscripts and autographed letters. His collection included first edition books. manuscripts, autographed letters, fine press books, original water colours, illustrated books. and other related items. The catalogues include detailed item descriptions, with some notes, and asking prices.
