Bound in publisher’s original blue cloth-covered boards. 8vo. Very gently rounded at spine ends. Internally a hint of toning and some speckles on text block edge. Previous owner’s name on front free endpaper. In its original, pictorial dust jacket designed by Philip Gough, a little chipped at edges, short flat tear, about 1cm long, at spine head. Interesting 1958 Sunday Times article on the battle to preserve English parish churches loosely laid in.
