First edition, second printing. xxii, [2], 650pp, with some colour and monochrome plate illustrations. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Black endpapers. 8vo. Cloth very slightly pushed in at the base of the spine else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust wrapper, perhaps a tad faded, and very slightly bumped on extreme edges. Not price clipped. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
