First edition, first impression.  xviii, 334pp, with some black and white illustrations in text.  Burgundy cloth-covered boards, gilt letting to spine.  Fawn endpapers.  4to.  Cloth gently rounded at spine ends; and there is small spot mark on the upper panel.  A tiny mark on the front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  Original glossy, illustrated dust jacket, not price clipped, a little bumped on extreme edges, small scuff at head of spine and sunned around the spine area.
