[Circa 1900]. 284pp, with tissued-guard portrait plate frontispiece and several further black and white plate illustrations. In green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded on corners, gently pushed at spine ends. Front free endpaper clumsily removed. Slight tanning on endpapers, annotations and bookseller’s ticket on rear paste down. One of the plates was offset in the printing process and has consequent edge damage and a short tear else internlly neat and clean.
