Signed and inscribed by Frank Cottrell Boyce on the dedication page, “To Robert Lilly, it’s totally bang bang to meet you”, with a small doodle following and the author’s signature in the shape of a car. 216pp, with numerous in text illustrations by Joe Berger. In red cloth-covered boards with silver titles on spine. Illustrated endpapers. 8vo. Boards very gently rounded at spine ends. Mild toning to text block edges. In its original, illustrated, unclipped dust jacket. Jacket is mildly rubbed on corners, bumped on edges and more markedly around spine ends, with a small chip on the front lower edge. Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
