Green cloth-covered boards, black illustration on front, black titles on printed yellow label on front, black titles on spine, many in-text black and white illustrations. 12mo. Boards lightly soiled. Spine lightly soiled and bumped, ends moderately rubbed. Bump to front joint, corners moderately rubbed and rounded. Text block edges foxing, small strain on fore-edge. Filled in presentation plate on front free endpaper (dated 1930), bookseller’s label on front pastedown, free endpapers heavily tanned, lighter tanning and foxing on pastedown. Gutters occasionally stretched, volume still tight. Foxing throughout, heaviest towards beginning and end of volume. Light tanning on plates.
