First edition, first impression.  238, [2]pp, with colour plate frontispiece and line drawings in text.  In bright green cloth-covered boards with black lettering front and spine.  12mo.  Cloth very slightly rubbed at points, spine cloth a little faded.  Top text block edge a little dust darkened.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, lightly bumped at edges, rubbed on corners, a little sunned over spine, circa 1 inch closed tear along leading eges.

The tenth Billy Bunter story, the last to published by Charles Skilton Ltd, before Cassell and Co took on the Greyfriars series.  Reputed to be the hardest to find volume in the series.

Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
