A facsimile reprint of the 1664 publication, The Conduct and Character of Count Nicholas Serini. Nicholas Serini, otherwise known as Miklos Zrinyi, (1620-1664), belonged to the prominent Hungarian/Croatian noble family of Zrinyr. He served as governor of Croatia from 1647, wa a national leader of the Hungarians and a prolific writer and poet. He led campaigns against the Ottoman Empire before losing his life in a hunting accident. The publication of his biography in London in 1664 cemented his reputation as a leader of note.
