Agatha Christie The Crime Collection (24 volumes) (Agatha Christie Crime Collection series)

Complete in 24 volumes.  All copies first thus.  Volumes uniformly bound in black cloth with lettering on cloth and red relief on spine; gilt and red decoration using Agatha Christie’s initial and a dagger on upper panel.  Top edges sprayed  red.  Red endpapers.  8vos.  All volumes in very good condition, with just the occasional slight rounding at spine ends and on some volumes a hint of toning to text block edges.  All in their original dust jackets, not price clipped. a little shelf worn, a little lightly bumping on extreme edges, and the occasional minor mark, slightly toned; the spine lettering on the volume including Nemesis is faded.  

A complete set of the 24 volume Agatha Christie Crime Collection issued by Paul Hamlyn between 1968 and 1972.  Each volume contains three novels or collections of short stories.  Originally issued on a subscription basis only (and not sold in bookshops) it appears some subscribers lacked commitment as the later volumes are less common, and thus complete sets hard to find
