[1917] 52pp, with two full page illustrations. In stiff card covers, bound with red ribbon. Covers worn and chipped all round, with dog-eared corners, and top half of backstrip cracked with minor loss, ribbon frayed, faded and fragile. Gift inscription, dated 1920, on first leaf, pages slightly discoloured with age, some wear at extreme edges, and a little, occasional spotting. Fred Pitman Morris was an Australian hymn-writer, songster and poet (and sometime special magistrate of the Children’s Court, Melbourne). A Bit o’ Worn Khaki was his third, and perhaps best known, collection of poetry to be published. Hard to find title. 8vo.
