Over 20,000 miniature warriors, soldier, guns and tanks had to be assembled to make this book.  Ten historic battles are recreated – Thermopylae, Agincourt, Edgehill, Blenheim, Lobositz, Saratoga, Austerlitz, Waterloo, Gettysburg and El Alamein, with an appendix on the principles of war gaming and another on model soldier suppliers.
