Professor Thomas explores post-Roman inscribed stones int he Celtic West, arguing, based on his own research, that seemingly crude Dark Age memorial are actually Celtic codes which could fundamentally change perceptions of the Dark Ages and provide a new dimension to thinking about post-Roman Britain and its cultural achievements.
