First edition, first impression. 176pp, with plentiful illustrations a few of which are in colour. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Bright red endpapers. 4to. Cloth very slightly rubbed on corners and spine tips. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original glossy, illustrated dust jacket, not price clipped, rubbed and quite heavily bumped at edges, with a short closed tear along the leading fold, a little toned, and misfitting (because a previous owner has used the front inner flap of the dust jacket as a bookmark!)
