First edition, first impression.  Signed by the author, Sarah Hall, on the title page.  434pp.  Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine.  Deep green endpapers.  8vo.  There is a hint of toning to the text block edges else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  Illustrated dust jacket, not price clipped, remains crisp and bright.  Jacket now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
