This collection is made up of articles and speeches taken from Lenin’s Collected Works and prepared, with corrections made in accordance with the fifth Russian edition, by the Progress Press in Moscow during the Soviet era.
Progress Publishers was a Moscow-based Soviet, and later Russian, publisher founded in 1931. It gained greater prominence when it took on the USSR’s state publishing functions in 1963, remaining the leading publisher of Soviet materials until the early 1980s when it handed that mantle to Raduga and MIR Publishers.
