First edition, first impression.  x, 230pp, with a section of colour plate illustrations and further black and white illustrations in text.  Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine.  Deep blue endpapers.  4to.  Some faint dust spotting to upper text block edge else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original dust wrapper, a little rubbed at edges.  The dust wrapper has been fitted with a Mylar-style protective sleeve which has been fitted a little too tightly, rippling the dust wrapper.
