Four consecutive issues of the Glyndebourne Festival Opera book, for 1960-1963, handsomely bound into a single volume, Burgundy cloth covered boards with gilt titles on the spine and the initials M L gilded onto the front panel. Richly illustrated in colour and black and white. 4to. Covers are a little shelf worn and marked, gently rounded at corners and ends of a slightly dried spine. Internally, the first three true leaves have a corner crease, and the gutter on the following spread is strained, else neat. clean, bright and tight throughout. The four programme books all retained their original illustrated card wraps.

As well as details of the performers and programme for the Glyndebourne Festival for each year, each issue also contains related articles such as on the history of Glyndebourne, musical context, and plot synopses. Visually impressive.
