First edition, third impression.  xvi, 436pp, with numerous figures and diagrams in text, one large folding chart at rear.  Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little pushed in at spine ends.  A little old damp damage to upper leading corner which has warped the top corner of the first few pages and bled through onto the interior of the dust wrapper, else internally neat. clean, bright and tight.  In its original dust wrapper, a little shelf worn, rubbed all round edges, quite heavily sunned over the spine.
