192pp.  Stiff card covers.  8vo.  Covers are worn, rubbed at edges, sunned over spine, with evidence of old damp damage around the lower leading corners.  Internally, the damp damage has caused some spotting around the lower leading corner of first and last few pages, and there’s a little toning in gutters, else neat and clean.  Firm in its binding and square.  

Bob Hoffman was an American sports promoter and coach for the US Olympic Weightlifting team for over 30 years.  This bible on weight lifting was first published in 1939, although this is a later reprint, with additions and revisions, from the 1960s.
