Echoes from the Welsh Hills: Reminiscences of the Preachers and People of Wales

First edition, second printing.  iv, 458, [xii]pp, with tissue-guarded monochrome frontispiece and decorative initial caps throughout.   Green cloth-covered boards with extensive gilt decoration and lettering, bevelled edges, brown endpapers, all edges sprayed red.  12mo.  Cloth is a little worn, gently rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, sunned over a dry spine.  Upper text block edge dull.  Some spotting internally and the occasional strained or cracked gutter, previous owner’s name neatly inked on the reverse of the title page.  Very slight forward lean.

A lovely vintage copy of this now hard to find collection of reminiscences of Wales and its people, through the lens of a well-known  Baptist preacher and practitioner of bible studies.
