John Bolster was a well known British racing driver and motor sports journalist. – the co-founder of AutoSport magazine.  Those who have heard of his Bloody Mary specials, built with his brother Richard, or read his Bloody Mary book will agree that the constructor and driver of this famous  special car was eminently suited to the task of describing the details of other cars specially built, either for racing, trials or hill climbs.  He does so well in this volume.
