Robin Hood and the Men of Greenwood

Date of 1912 taken from preface.  360pp, plus colour plate frontispiece and 15 further colour plate illustrations, all by Walter Crane.  Green leather with blind embossed titles.  Green endpapers.  12mo.  Boards are solid but scuffed at corners and spine ends, shelf worn and heavily sunned over the spine and along the upper edges.  Text block edges a little shadowed and dark.  Gift inscription, dated 1915, on the verso of the frontispiece.  Pages show some aging, occasional spotting and sings of handling throughout, with the occasional small tear,  many softened corners and the odd smudge mark.  Several of the plate illustrations have been trimmed along the fore edge (not affecting the illustrations themselves which are all complete).
