Reprint.  160pp, profusely illustrated in black and white.  Quarter bound in grey cloth over blue paper-covered boards, gilt lettering to spine.  Colour illustrated endpapers.  4to.  Cloth is a little pushed in at spine ends.  Upper text block edge dust darkened.  Internally neat. clean, bright and tight.  In its original glossy dust jacket, slightly shelf worn and a little bumped along extreme edges.  

The ‘Civil War’ in the title refers to the American Civil War.
