12pp stapled pamphlet with black and white illustrations in text. Printed paper wraps.  8vo.  Covers are worn, rubbed and toned around edges, and lightly toned all over.  Internally pages a little soiled and toned around edges with some minor signs of reading handling else clean, tight and complete.  

A brief booklet examining the history of the swastika, its uses and symbolism in ancient times.  The foreword states “the purpose of this booklet is to put the swastika into its proper perspective as a sign of vast antiquity.  Recent usages of the sign have clouded its meaning but this is no reason to abandon  the study of something of fundamental importance”.
