First edition, second printing.  [vi], 432pp, with several sections of black and white plate illustrations.  Grey cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  Deep red endpapers.  8vo.  Cloth very slightly bumped on corners else.  Gift inscription neatly inked on the half title page, dated Christmas 2003, else volume neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original illustrated dust wrapper, not price clipped, lightly bumped on extreme edges. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
