Undated but circa 1965. 20pp stapled booklet in laminated stiff card covers, copiously illustrated with cartoons drawn by Norman Thelwell. Landscape 12mo. Card covers a little rubbed at edges and slightly shelf worn, with a couple of flat creases on rear panel. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.

A charming, vintage booklet issues by Moss Bros, the retailer of gentleman’s clothing and formal wear, promoting its then extensive range of riding wear and saddlery. The text is taken from R S Summerhays’ The Problem Horse, here accompanied by Norman Thelwell cartoons which were specially commissioned by Moss Bros for the booklet.
