Undated but circa 1930. xx, 382pp, with photogravure frontispiece and numerous further photogravure and line block illustrations, two folding plates and one folding chart. Rebound in quarter brown leather over faux leather boards, gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Boards worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, spine leather dry and titling dull. An ex lending library copy with library bookplate on front paste down, annotations on front free endpaper, perforated stamp on title page and further annotations and stamp on copyright page. Some light toning and spotting to first and last few pages else internally neat, clean and tight.
