Bookseller’s ticket on front paste down, else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original illustrated dust wrapper, bumped along upper edge and slightly so on lower edge.

Ancient chroniclers, including Julius Caesar, made the Druids and their sacred rituals and rites infamous in the Western world. But as Miranda Green shows in this book, the Druids’ day-to-day lives were far less lurid, and far more significant.
