Eighth edition. viii, 316, [2]pp, sparsely illustrated in black and white. Mid blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine. 8vo. There is some heavy mottled staining along the fore edge of the upper panel, cloth gently rounded at corners and spine ends. Some faint spotting on text block edges. Prize presentation plate from the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, dated 1933, on the front free endpaper. Hint of toning to endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original paper dust wrapper, toned to brittle, rubbed and bumped at edges, chapped along upper edge, heavily sunned over spine.
