Complete in three volumes.  First editions, first printings.  Illustrated in black and white.  All three volumes uniformly bound in tan cloth-covered boards with eagle motif on front panels, brown lettering on spines.  Illustrated endpapers.  8vos.  Cloth a little pushed at spine ends and corners, slightly darkened over spines.  Text block edges just a little toned.  Previous owner’s name, dated 1952, neatly inked at the top of the title page of each volume, else internally neat, clean and tight.

A handsome three volume set.  Volume one is subtitled Life in the East; Volume two, The Cotton Kingdom; and volume three, The Frontier Moves West.
