First edition, first impression.  xi, 40pp of engravings with commentary on facing pages.  Green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  A large and heavy volume, Elephant folio.  Front panel slightly bowed, cloth a little worn and dust marked.  Slight spotting on endpapers, foreword page has a raised bump, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  Dust wrapper worn and torn, a little crumbling on corners and spine ends, shelf worn.  A mammoth and imposing volume.
