[circa 1910, dated from internal evidence].  40pp, with numerous black and white photographs of historical and charming views of Canterbury, its cathedral and the areas surrounding the city.  In maroon pebbled cloth boards with gilt lettering and arms on front. Landscape 12mo.  Cloth is a little worn rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, spine rubbed and cracked over internal staples.  Free endpapers tanned, with some minor bleed from cloth at edges of endpapers else internally neat, clean and bright. 

A largely photographic record of Canterbury between the turn of the 20th century and the outbreak of the first world war with a brief introductory essay.
