In green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth very slightly rubbed and rounded on corners and spine tips. A little toning on endpapers else neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original illustrated dust jacket, rubbed on edges, a little bumped along upper edge, with a couple of short nicks from edges on rear.
In 1947 Count Ahlefeldt Bille, Chief Game Warden of Denmark, led the Danish East-African Scientific Expedition, the purpose of which was to collect scientific material for the Zoological Musuem of Aarhus and the University of Copenhagen. This is his book about the expedition. Tandalla is the native name of the Greater Kudu, one of the specimens which the Count managed to take to Denmark for the Zoological Museum.
