[1915]. 104pp, plus six mounted coloured plate illustrations with captioned tissue-guards, many mostly monochrome drawings and sketches in text. Some coloured page decorations. In fawn paper-covered boards, with tipped in colour illustration on front pane, green titles on spine. Top edge gilt. 4to. Very slightly cocked. Boards a little worn and rubbed at edges. Two inked inscriptions on front free endpaper, dated 1915 and 1952 respectively. Endpapers a tad brown and spotted, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A gloriously illustrated tribute to the English countryside and art in nature.
