Quarter-bound in orange cloth-covered boards with laminated printed pictorial coverings on front; gilt decorative covering on rear; black titles on front and spine; penguins on spine. 4to. Very lightly bumped and rubbed spine ends. Very light bumping to edges and corners. Dusty top text block edge; all edges tanning. Signature binding. Black and white pictorial endpapers just starting to fox and tan. Hinges stretched at front endpapers. Very, very light foxing to prelims and title page, otherwise, internally very neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has very light shelf wear; chipping to edges; small loss at spine head; not price clipped. Includes nearly 300 colour and black and white illustrations throughout.
