451pp with 6pp of unpaginated publishers adverts at rear. Red cloth-covered boards with black lettering on the front and spine, as well as a black border on the front board. 12mo. Lightly rubbed and rounded edges and spine ends, resulting in a few tiny tears at spine head. Top text block is slightly discoloured and darkened. Internally, some mild browning on front and rear endpapers, and a small bookseller’s ticket on the front pastedown endpaper. Pages 445-451 have folded corners and edges, with minimal loss, not effecting text. Gutter on page 190 is slightly cracked, but doesn’t cause any movement or risk of loose pages.
