Undated, likely 1950s. 272pp. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Bumped spine ends, cloth wearing. Lightly bumped corners, except bottom rear which is worse. Bump to outer edge of rear board. Wear at spine cover. Top text block dusty. Missing front free endpaper. Front gutter stretched. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. No dust jacket. 8vo. Graves was a journalist and writer – this is his war diary from July 8th 1942 – November 2nd 1943. A good clean hardback copy of this now hard-to-find title.
