xxxii, 576pp. Bound in full soft red leather with gilt decoration and lettering, gilded inner dentelles, all edges gilt. Arms of Allan’s Endowed School, Newcastle-upon-Tyne gilded onto front board. (Boards a little rubbed at edges, leather has short crack at head of spine). Pale green endpapers (slightly aged). Tissue-guarded portrait frontispiece. Prize presentation plate on the front endpaper indicating the volume was awarded to one D D Spence for Mathematics and Latin in 1913. Gutter strained between endpaper and half title, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. Firmly bound.
