Red buckram boards, with gilt lettering and decorations to spine, blind ruled decorations. Top edge gilded, other edges rough cut. Portrait frontispiece with tissue guard, two-colour printed title page. Boards a little rounded at corners, lightly frayed at spine tips, backstrip a little sunned. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring two previous owner’s names on front endpaper. Lovely vintage volume.
