255pp plus 10pp publisher’s adverts at rear. Monochrome plate frontispiece and two further plate illustrations all by M E Edwards. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and three-colour, stamped illustrations front and spine. 12mo. Clean and bright, binding vulnerable with one plate loosely inserted. Boards lightly rubbed at extremities, with one inch crack at top of rear spine joint. Pages bright with a little spotting. Previous owner’s inscription dated 1907 on flyleaf.

Lovely pictorial binding typical of Edwardian era.
