Frist edition, first impression. 192pp, with colour illustrations throughout. Illustrated stiff card covers with French flaps. 4to. A little gentle edge wear to card covers else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.

The official companion volume to the exhibition of Beatrix Potter’s artwork held at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London in 2006. Potter’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit is well-known (and well-loved) but apart from a few of her botanical drawings, Potter’s most original paintings were never published or exhibited in her lifetime. This volume offers a broad survey of Potter’s art in all its variety, from early sketches to unfinished and variant designs, and finished watercolours, including some of the less familiar material never before published.
