Miniature edition, later printing. xii, [2], 84, [2]pp, with frontispiece and eight further full page illustrations by Henry Holiday and a nautical chart. Red cloth-covered boards, with gilt emblem on upper panel, gilt titles on the spine. 16mo. Cloth is worn, rubbed and fading at spine ends. Upper text block edge dust darkened. Internally the pages have lost brightness but clean, neat and tight, if a little skewed. In its original dust jacket, not clipped, toned to brittle, rubbed around edges with visible shelf wear, a little edge chipping with some loss at the base of a sunned spine. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.

A sweet little, early reprint of Carroll’s 1896 nonsense poem, the Hunting of the Snark. The Miniature edition was first released in 1910. This reprint is from 1931.
