The Waning of the Middle Ages: A Study of the Forms of Life, Thought and Art in France and the Netherlands in the XIVth and XVth Centuries

Reprint. viii, 328pp, with monochrome portrait plate frontispiece.  Red cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering on the spine.  Cloth a little crushed at spine ends, minor indentation on lower leading edge.  Upper text block edge dust dulled.  There’s a brief, lightly pencilled note on the rear free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original matte dust wrapper, not price clipped, shelf worn and lightly toned, a little chipped on corners and and spine ends, sunned over chipped spine, with minor loss at spine tail.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
