Previous owner’s stamp on front paste down that has also blemished end paper, number stamped top corner. Significant foxing to prelim pages. 16mo. Early study of the dialect of the Deanery of Craven, in the West Riding, enlarged from its original edition a decade earlier, with an extensive glossary. Written by ‘A native of Craven’, later identified as Rev William Carr.
