Not dated but likely circa 1915. “Presented with the Compliments of Morris’s Cafe” printed on the front cover. 10pp stitched booklet in printed card wrappers, illustrated with sketches of local scenes and sepia photographs. Wrappers a little worn and slightly rubbed at edges; internally neat, clean and bright. Firmly bound. The main article considers some of Shrewsbury’s historic features and sites; with a shorter article on Morris’s Cafe and Elizabethan building it occupied on Pride Hill. Morris’s cafe was an institution in Shrewsbury for decades. SLim 12mo.
